As we seek to develop new SAF supply chains, transportation is a critical factor in determining optimal supply chain locations, structures, and resilience.  The Freight and Fuel Transportation Optimization Tool (FTOT) has been developed to enable supply chain scenario exploration, with a particular strength in enabling analysis of SAF supply chains.  FTOT optimizes the routing and flow of the supply chain materials over a multimodal transportation network and provides insight into costs, emissions, and vehicle miles traveled by mode, commodity, facility and scenario.  FTOT models and tracks commodity-specific information and can take into account conversion of raw materials to products (e.g., feedstocks to jet fuel and diesel) and the fulfillment of downstream demand. It also enables resilience analyses.  This webinar will provide CAAFI stakeholders with an overview of FTOT, which will be followed by a free online training to be offered later this summer.
