November 18, 2021 — The First Movers Coalition, a group of corporations including Amazon, Apple, Delta Airlines and others, have committed to creating a market for low-carbon technologies. This effort aims to encourage innovation in areas relating to sustainable fuels, electric vehicles, and other low-carbon technologies. This coalition, which was launched at the Climate Change Conference COP26, will collaborate with leading organizations to supply clean energy technologies and encourage corporate purchasing commitments to make them more available in the marketplace. They will also aim to create a cohesive supply chain and leverage existing networks to make sustainable fuels and technologies more available.
