July 20, 2021 — Avfuel Corporation has announced a collaboration to supply Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to Million Air Burbank (KBUR), a fixed-base operator (FBO). KBUR received its first truckload of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) on June 24th. KBUR had been looking into ways to reduce their carbon emissions, and have found it with their collaboration with Avfuel and Neste. Each truckload of SAF provided to KBUR by Avfuel has a 22-metric ton reduction in carbon emissions over its lifecycle compared to conventional fuels.
